FAQs

  • We kindly ask that RSVPs be submitted no later than November 10th, 2024.

We will be reaching out to all RSVP’d guests by the end of November to confirm their attendance, and to offer any additional assistance needed to finalize travel and accommodation arrangements.

If you are no longer able to attend after submitting your RSVP, please let us know as early as possible.

  • If you’d like to bring someone who was not explicitly included on your invitation, please reach out to Edwin or Ceilidh before submitting an RSVP.

  • Children are welcome to join us for both the ceremony and reception. However, we kindly remind everyone that both the wedding and the venue are mostly suited to adults. If you do bring your children, please be mindful of the vibe.

Dinner for our little guests will include an assortment of pizza, burgers, nuggets and fries. Please indicate how many children’s meals you will require when you RSVP. Water, soda and juice will be available for kids throughout the evening.

  • The dress code for the wedding is “Miami Cocktail”. Bright colours and bold prints are encouraged.

We recommend that our guests wear whatever makes them look and feel their best, but please no jeans, shorts, t-shirts, white/off-white dresses, or sportswear (duh).

  • We are organizing the seating arrangement for the ceremony and reception. Once our final guest list is completed, the seating arrangements will be posted to both our website and upon arrival at the venue.

If you have a seating request, please add a note when you RSVP!

  • ‘Cuz it’s a lot warmer there in January than it is in Canada! We wanted a destination-type wedding without our guests feeling restricted to a resort. Miami is full of wonderful restaurants, famous art and fashion districts, stunning hotels, and world-class beaches. We hope that all of our guests will enjoy this time as both a celebration of love and a cool adventure.

  • Weather in early January is dry and mild, with temperatures typically ranging between 17-23 degrees Celsius (low/mid 70s Fahrenheit).

We recommend that our guests bring a light cover-up or jacket for after the sun sets, as the ceremony is planned to take place outdoors. In the event of rain, the ceremony and reception will be moved indoors.

  • Our photographer, Fabiano Silva, will be onsite for professional photos throughout the afternoon and evening.

Our guests are welcome to use their personal phones and cameras for photo booth ops and throughout the cocktail hour and reception, but we kindly ask that no phones or cameras be used during the ceremony.
